Black Ribbon and About Art

Today I had a ceremony in school to celebrate Hari Pahlawan (10 November). At the end of the ceremony, teachers distributed a black ribbon for all students. They said we should wear it everyday until 22 November 2010. Do you know what that ribbon means? The ribbon represents grief for disasters that happened in Indonesia lately especially Merapi.

I hope the best for my country! And to all victims, I pray God will bless them with a true blessings and strength :) Anyway, I got the result of my two latest projects in Art subject.

Aquarel technique and Independence day poster project

Got 96 and 97 out of 100 :)

Wow, I couldn't believe it since I'm always think that my works look mediocre :P If people ask me about art, how to do it, I can't answer them, I have no idea too. Normally, I let my hands work for me, I never attend Art course in my entire life, and nobody in my family have Art talent either. So it's pretty hard to answer because I don't know 'the good techniques' to do Art since nobody ever teach me how ;( My Art teacher in school and Dad said that I don't need to attend Art course, I just need to practice more.
