Growing A Crystal

Hi, folks, just few days ahead before Christmas, I can't wait! Anyway, last night I opened my mysterious present that Ilona gave me (with her permission, I said that I can't open it on Christmas night because I'll be in Singapore and she told me that 'the present' is something that I may not bring to the airport, so I opened it last night). What was it?

A 'Believe' Crystal! I never try this :) Thanks my friend

I unpacked it with my little sister, Chelsea. We made the crystal together based on the instruction book. It was like a little experiment ha ha ha.

Boiled water, glass bottle, crystal powder pouch, crystal tablet, stick, cord lid, flax, wish card, and we were ready!

1. Place the stick inside, fill the glass bottle with boiled water up to the line marked on the stick

2. Add the crystal powder pouch

3. Stir until completely dissolved

4. Drop the crystal tablet

5. Place the cork lid on the bottle and store in a safe location :)

After 24 hours has passed, we should remove the cork lid and keep it in touch with air. The crystal will grow and reach maximum size in 12-15 days (don't close the bottle with the cork lid during this period). I will post my grown up crystal later, probably 2 more weeks :D

Few days ago, my friend asked me if I'm able to be a translator for her Korean novel. I said that maybe it'll be too hard for me to translate 300++ pages Korean novel. I usually translate Korean articles or sentences, but I never touch Korean novel. So I recommended her to my Sonsaengnim (teacher), after a few days passed, they made an agreement over it. Today I received the novel scripts from her via courier service (she lives in Jepara), I'll give it to my Sonsaengnim this evening.

The novel title is Tango by Gu Hye Seon

Few paragraphs

The author, do you know her? A Korean actress from Boys Before Flowers :)

Gu Hye Seon is my favorite actress. I like her since one and half years ago. I never stop stalking her until now ha ha ha. I knew she made a novel back to 2009 (they only sell it in Korea), I've been really curious about her novel since then. I had a little opportunity to read it this morning, I just read a few pages. I found new vocabularies and a hard grammar structure there. I'll have so many questions for Korean session tonight ha ha ha. Anyway, this will be my last post before I go to Singapore. Also, tonight will be the last session for my Korean lesson, Sonsaengnim will give birth to her second child in a few days (wish her luck), we will start our lesson again in the end of January.

Hiatus from 23 December 2010 up to 3 January 2011

Outing With Mummy

Yep, today I was going out with Ma. She asked me for a companion to Daan Mogot Mal (DM) near our home, because she wanted to go to jewelry shop to manage 'something', I didn't know at all, it was her 'little business'. She doesn't like to be alone wherever she goes, completely different from me and Dad. Anyway, I agreed (with a promise she would buy me a novel if I go with her lol).

I finished my previous novel and I bought this one today :)

When she was busy with her thing, she told me to wait at McDonald. I went to McDonald by myself and bought a treat.

Yeay, McFlurry with M&M topping, I'm lovin it lol

Not so long after that, she brought me to a Photo Studio. She said that she wanted to print some photos from her Blackberry. But we ended up with many (I mean really really many) photos being printed.

Mostly printed in size 2R. A small pocket size!

We got 3 Barbie pocket albums for free :D cute!

Trapped by traffic jam as always :(

I got a book so cheers along way home :P

By the way, we received a Christmas gift from my Auntie (wife of Ma's older brother). They're a Muslim family actually, but we respect each other belief by giving a gift regularly every year (for Christmas and Lebaran season).

Christmas card :) They have 3 boys, Alfian, Alfachri, and Alfredo

A box full of ice cream cupcakes! So yummy but too cute to be eaten, thank you Auntie :D

Showing Tantrum

I didn't go anywhere last Saturday, but this wasn't a thing that made my tantrum showed up. On Saturday night, I asked somebody inside my home if we can go to a morning session for tomorrow church. Why? Because I wanted to go to Taman Anggrek Mal (which is far from my home, if we attend evening session, we can't go there) and buy 2 books that I needed to finish my school tasks. TAM has a big complete bookstore, I couldn't find books I wanted in the malls near my home, so that was why I chose TAM. Somebody said OK. Great, I felt relief because I didn't have many times left to finish my tasks since we will go to Singapore in 23 December. But on Sunday morning, I woke up because another somebody asked me this silly thing that I obviously would say NO over it, "Jie, may we go to evening session today ah?". I answered, "No, we may not and we can't!". But that annoying somebody insisted that we should go to evening session and somebody told my Dad, "Just go to evening session!". Poorly somebody won. Somebody just wanted to go to evening session so that somebody could have a longer time to play around with friends. I felt so sulky and angry. One, I got a promise on Saturday night that we would go to morning session -- and I hate a broken promise more than anything. Two, as if my school tasks weren't so important rather than a silly wish to get longer playtime. Three, I had to suffer because somebody and friends made a damn unpleasant noise all day long. Four, I should had one more night thinking if my tasks will be finished on time -- because I don't want any disturber flying over my head during trip to Singapore. I got really mad that day -- I hate hormones made me lost control -- and showing up tantrum till nobody brave enough to stand beside me -- except my Ma who still asked many crazy questions and got fierce answers. I wanted to cry desperately at the end of the day, which I did.

Thank God, I'm over it. Today I went to TAM with my Ma. I got the books I wanted. I even received more, a J.COOL yogurt. Okay, I really love yogurt like seriously!

A mystery romance novel, Oliver Twist book for making drama script, rest of it are Guidance to Draw Chibi books

Yummy yogurt but I still prefer Sour Sally actually :D

Next week I'll go to Singapore, must be a fun time to relax :) Anyway I watched Tron 3D tonight! It was packed with a complicated plot plus don't forget the awesome 3D! I didn't sleep at all, just because the 3D effects mesmerizing my eyes during the show ha ha ha. I hardly understand the story, simply confusing actually, but I made it thou. I understood the main plot at last moment of the show, how pathetic!

Didn't quite satisfied with the story, but Tron's 3D was hella awesome!

Also bought a historical romance novel, The Magic of You by Johanna Lindsey

Lastly, visited Sour Sally Yogurt to buy healthy treats :D

Happy weekend to you all! Have a great refreshing time with your family :D

Yearbook Photo Session

Yeah, I had a yearbook photo session this evening, it was tiring, and no fun. But before I tell you more, I just want to talk about Christmas and Potluck Party celebration today in my school. Well, it's 16th December but we celebrated an early Christmas, I guess ha ha ha. I also received a box of food for lunch (I had no appetite and gave it to my driver). I brought 3 presents back home.

A new sketch book, Tupperware yellow cup, and mysterious present :P

I may not open the mysterious present from Ilona, my bestie, before 24th December. I don't know why, but I hope I can cope with my big curiosity because she hoped so.

Okay then, the photo session held on Jembatan Kota Intan (Kota Intan Bridge), Old Town, Jakarta. It started around 5.30 PM (we waited for the EO to come), but I arrived at 4 PM. Waiting for a long time successfully annoyed me!

Me! Recognize the Basketball headphone? I just bought it yesterday for IDR 85.000

We paid IDR 350.000 inside for 26 people include my homeroom teacher

The bridge, first time I saw it directly

Left to right, Felix, Wilson, and Steven. They were playing around and totally a LOL!

Everyone was busy with their make up and stuffs while I busy taking pictures

Cheers, I was the only one who didn't wear a dress. A dress for me, keep dreaming!

Miss Kris, our homeroom teacher

Ilona, my bestie. I'm tall like giraffe, poor her T_T

View of Old Town

I love this shot! Gals were posing together :)

Gurls! So dark when we took this pic, can you spot me!? (I was holding a white hat)

I arrived home at 7.15 PM. I still think about bunch of tasks. My latest job is to draw an illustration of 9B members for yearbook, sigh. I never able to escape from school tasks, for God sake, tomorrow will be the last day of school but I still get a task? Kidding me! You want me to do it during holiday? Joking me!

God bless me for doing this job! Amen

Narcissism

Please, don't read the title first he he he. Today, we (included Ma this time) visited a GL Ministry Church  around Kelapa Gading. It took one hour before we arrived there at 6.20 PM. Church started from 6.30 PM and ended 9.00 PM. Yes, two and half hours, I never expected that long, usually we just spend one and half hours on our normal church. After that, we headed to Sate Senayan Restaurant and had a wonderful supper there.

Menu, you could find many choices of Indonesian Cuisine there!

One of restaurant view

While we were waiting, I kept busy taking pictures. Ever since I own this blog, I enjoy all of my trips more, because I know I have a place to share and save my stories. Blog, which I feel like my own home, is a memory keeper or we could call it journal dairy. I believe it's important for every person who own and use it seriously :) Anyway, we took many pictures, all of us had a cheerful mood tonight which made me glad and wished a wonderful outing like this every weekend ha ha ha

Gurls!

Auntie Carenina and me :)

Smiling Dad!

I realized I would miss this, smiling Mum!

Kids, they put their eyes into games all the time, sigh and slap forehead

Our foods, just simple, 3 portions of chicken satay, 2 bowls of soup, and Gelantine. Tasted great!

Like our narcissism inside restaurant wasn't enough, we snapped another pictures outside restaurant. Oh God! I felt like my face was almost cramp lol

God really blessed my weekend ha ha ha. Okay, time to sleep now, night folks!
